Welcome to Windsor, Ontario.

The City of Windsor is known as the International Gateway between Canada and the United States of America. It is the fourth most culturally diverse population in Canada.

Windsor is Canada's southernmost city and has a mild climate. The city is surrounded by three bodies of water - Lake Erie, Lake St. Clair, and the Detroit River – resulting in moderate winter temperatures and summer temperatures reaching into the thirties.

Windsor is a major contributor to Canada's automotive industry. Known as the "Automotive Capital of Canada", Windsor's industrial and manufacturing heritage is responsible for how the city has developed through the years.

No matter what your interests, you are sure to find many activities in Windsor. Explore cinemas, coffee shops, shopping malls, museums, dance clubs, and much more. Those who enjoy the outdoors will appreciate Windsor's riverfront gardens, which stretch for several kilometers along the Detroit River. Enjoy our lush parks or attend concerts, fairs, and a wide variety of cultural shows and festivals.

Windsor has been named "#1 Best Small City in North America" and one of the "most intelligent communities in the world" (London Financial Times).
