International English Language Testing System | St. Clair College

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an internationally recognized test designed to assess the English Language proficiency of individuals who plan to study or work where English is the language of communication. Over 1 million candidates take IELTS annually. In Canada, IELTS results are used for immigration purposes and for admission to colleges and universities.

St. Clair College Continuing Education (Windsor) is an Information Centre for the IELTS. If you wish to obtain information on the IELTS or require assistance in registering for the test, please email international@stclaircollege.ca.

To register for the IELTS please bring the following:

  • ID (valid passport or permanent resident card)
  • Payment (Visa, MasterCard, Money Order or Certified Cheque made payable to Conestoga College, $319.00. Debit is not accepted.)
  • If you would like your test results to be sent to any institutions, please bring the names and addresses.
