Students will examine a variety of cardio/respiratory diagnostics and therapeutics with a focus on advanced airway management techniques including tracheostomy, laryngeal masks and surgical airways. Students learn about diagnostic testing/monitoring and interpretation such as ECG, bronchoscopy and chest x-rays and their clinical significance. Students will integrate decision-making and evaluation skills to analyze and plan therapeutic protocols and care plans.
