This course will be a comprehensive review course covering theoretical, didactic and hands on learning objectives for Cardiology Technology. The main themes include a comprehensive review of all diagnostic testing with an emphasis in EKG Interpretation, Holter Monitoring, and Stress Testing. Anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, along with Cardiac Pharmacology will also be reviewed. The learning outcomes will coincide with the competencies outlined by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists standards of practice.
