The OCAA announced their men’s volleyball regular season award winners on Wednesday and the St. Clair Saints program earned lots of hardware.

Topping the list is second year outsider hitter Kale Wilkinson (Windsor; Riverside) who was named a West Division First Team All Star and OCAA West Division Player of the Year. As the Player of the Year he will also be recognized as a CCAA All Canadian at the CCAA National Championship. Kale was also named OCAA Men’s Volleyball West Division Scoring Champion averaging 4.6 points/set.

Arthur Richard (Woodstock; Woodstock Collegiate) was named to the West Division All Rookie team and was named the West Division Rookie of the Year. Richard led the OCAA in service aces per set with 0.56.

Head Coach Shawn Reaume was named West Division Coach of the Year and OCAA Coach of the Year leading the Saints to a record of 13-5 and tied for second place in the OCAA West. The 13 wins is a season high record for the Saints. Reaume will be the OCAA nominee moving forward for CCAA Coach of the Year.

Third year middle Jonah Certossi (Belle River; Belle River District) and third year setter Nick Kwiatkowski (Essex; Essex District) were named West Division Second Team All Stars.

The Saints are next in action on Saturday at 12 noon at Centennial College taking on the East second place Colts in OCAA Quarterfinal action. The winner will advance to the OCAA Final Four Championship.
