On Wednesday February 7, the Experiential Learning and Career Services Department hosted healthcare employers at the Chatham Campus. In all, 23 employers from the region and beyond had the opportunity to network with students from the following programs:
- Practical Nursing
- Nursing (BScN)
- Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist Assistant
- Personal Support Worker
- Paramedic
The Chatham Campus HealthPlex provided the ideal setting for the promotion of healthcare employment. Students arrived, resumes in hand, to learn about current opportunities and network with employers.
This event was the first of two Chatham career fairs this semester. On Monday March 4, employers from the education and community services sector will be at the HealthPlex to meet students from the Child and Youth Care, Developmental Service Worker, and Early Childhood Education Programs. Students are reminded to come prepared to network with their resumes.
The next healthcare career fair will take place at the Toldo Centre for Applied Health Sciences at the Windsor South Campus on Wednesday February 14.
