The monthly newsletter contest is open to staff, faculty and students("the subscriber") who have received the newsletter and have submitted a correct response to that month's contest.
To enter the contest, the subscriber has to submit a correct response to the current month's contest via the online form link at the bottom of the newsletter.
Entries are accepted until the last working day of the current month. Names will be drawn on the first week of the following month.
Names of subscribers with correct responses will be entered into a random name-picker website (https://commentpicker.com/random-name-picker.php) and chosen at random for each prize. Once a subscriber's name has been drawn, it will be removed for subsequent rounds for that month. A subscriber is eligible to win every month for which they have submitted a correct response.
The prizes will be chosen at random for each round drawing. One prize will be drawn for Admin/Staff/Faculty entrants, one prize will be drawn for Student entrants and one prize will be a "wildcard" from all of the remaining names (combined admin/staff/faculty/student names). In the event that there are no correct submissions from a particular group (Staff or Students), the prize(s) for that group will be added to the other group's pool of prizes, and additional winner(s) will be chosen from that group.
Subscribers can collect their prize at the SCC Help Desk located in room A2131. Subscribers must show ID to receive their prize.
Any Prize winner who fails to claim their prize within ninety (90) days from the date such prize is announced, will forfeit the prize.
Winners will be announced in the following month's newsletter in the "Last Month's Winners" section. Prize details will not be announced.
