Sport Specific Programming & Conditioning

The goal is to improve your physical and mental attributes making you the best you can be regardless of age, gender or current fitness level. A specific plan of action according to the specific demands of your sport will give you peak results. Training incorrectly can actually decrease your potential. We focus on purposeful movement which will decrease potential injuries. Here is what we do for our student athletes:

First Step Quickness

The ability to explode and generate extreme power with your first two strides is critical to success in any sport. Attributes such as balance, strength, posture and acceleration are essential to improving quickness. Training this system improperly will actually make you slower and drives you away from your potential. It is critical to train 1st step quickness properly in order to be the best you can be!

Functional Testing

We test your ability to perform the way the body was intended - With Full Function. We test muscle length and strength, assess posture, and perform a comprehensive movement analysis.

Performance Testing

Testing for general fitness and sport-related fitness are important to the development of a balanced athlete. Often times it is what's done outside of the sport that makes the difference between a good player and a great player. In order to thoroughly measure an athlete's progressions in their sport, performance testing is required. A complete test will become a benchmark from which to measure progress and set future goals.

Sport Conditioning

Our program is designed to work all of the peak performance training attributes concentrating on movement mechanics, postural alignment, balance, strength, power, deceleration, and acceleration training. Exercises are ground-based and linked to ensure performance crossover. Each session will be structured with warm-ups, main activities and cooldowns. Specific assessments, functional testing, and performance testing quantify the changes that take place after completing the program.
