  • Semester 1: September to December (15 weeks)
  • Semester 2: January to April (15 weeks)
  • Semester 3: May to July (First clinical placement) (12 weeks)
  • Semester 4: September to December (Second clinical placement) (12 weeks)
  • The program includes 2 semesters of mostly online lectures and in-person labs, followed by 2 semesters of clinical placements.
  • Online lectures will be recorded and can be viewed at the student's convenience.
  • In-person labs/lectures for Applied Echocardiography and Sonography Physics courses will take place in the afternoon, on weeknights and on Saturdays.
  • Before booking any appointments or work schedules, please check your student schedule on the Student Information System (SIS) - there will be an announcement when schedules are available.
  • All in-person Applied Echocardiography labs will take place in the Sonography Lab (Rm F1005) located on the First Floor of the Anthony P. Toldo Centre for Applied Health Sciences, Windsor Campus
  • Scrub uniform - OLIVE GREEN SCRUBS ONLY - are required for all lab days and clinical placements. No patterns or additional colours are to be worn during these times. A St. Clair College logo/patch must be displayed on the left sleeve of the scrub top.
  • Indoor athletic shoes only. Open toed or backless shoes are prohibited.
  • Clinical placement sites are located throughout Ontario. Each site has a limited number of spots available for students. It is likely that students will be placed at a site that is not their first choice or in their hometown for one, if not both, of their clinical placements. Students are responsible for all costs associated with the placement (Ex: travel, accommodations, etc.).
  • A list of required textbooks will be made available to students before the start of the semester. Textbooks can be purchased through St. Clair College’s Campus Bookstore.
