Pre-Apprenticeship Program Described as ‘a Phenomenal Opportunity’

On February 29th, a conference and introduction to the challenge took place at the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, marking the official start of the event. More than 200 students from St. Clair College's Zekelman School of Information Technology and Zekelman School of Business attended the event. A total of forty teams registered, but only twelve advanced to the second round.
Team #1 from the St Clair College IBM ASCM case competition team has been selected to move onto the finals after an excellent performance in the preliminary round on February 9th, 2024. The Final ASCM Case Study competition will take place on March 7th, 2024 with winners announced on March 8th.

St. Clair College has emerged as the winner of The US & Canada Learn-A-Thon, Introduction to Data Science on Skills for All. Hosted by industry leader, Cisco, this competition unfolded for six hours from February 12 to 26, 2024, with teams from various educational institutions battling it out for the title.
St. Clair College has hit a record enrolment number again this year - by a razor-thin margin.
"The good news story here is we have another record, although it’s almost on par with last year’s enrolment, which was a record," said Associate Vice President, Student Services and Registrar Michael Silvaggi. "Year-over-year we are plus two students."

While most interior design students focus on beautification inside homes, St. Clair College students are focused on building affordable and beautiful communities.
County students requiring public transportation to St. Clair College now have access to a new transit service that runs from Leamington to the college’s main campus on Talbot Road West.
The Leamington to Windsor Transit service, LTW Transit - Route 42, began operation Monday, July 8, with stops in Kingsville and Essex. It runs Monday to Saturday.
(Windsor, Ontario) - In the competitive world of internship hunting, St. Clair College Media Convergence students Angelica Haggert and Alyssa Horrobin, are headed to CBC in Toronto for six week-long internships. Haggert will be working on the ‘News Network’ program and Horrobin will be working on the radio show ‘Fresh Air’.

The clinic is a free service that provides assistance in finding and filling out important forms, including: business forms, health card forms, school registration, government forms, some legal forms, and more.
