Patti France, students and faculty present Jennifer Wells with donation cheque

This year, St. Clair College Students and staff hit the streets around the campuses in south Windsor and downtown Windsor for the 2022 Goodfellows newspaper sale campaign on Nov 24 - 26.

Students from the Protection, Security and Investigation; Police Foundations; Border Services; and Community and Justice Services programs took the lead in collecting donations for the Goodfellows Paper Drive at the South and Downtown Campuses and surrounding roadways.

Our goal this year was to surpass our previous record collection set in 2021 of $14,345. We are proud to say that this year, we accomplished our goal, collecting $17,041.40. As in past years, the College has matched this total boosting our 2022 total to $34,082.80.

Thank you to all students, friends, family members, staff, chairs, and administrators who donated time to collect donations. And a special thank you to our student organizing committees for the weeks of preparation and long days organizing volunteers, counting donations and problem-solving that week.

Today, some of our students and faculty joined President Patti France and presented the cheque for $34,082.50 to Jennifer Wells, President of the Windsor Goodfellows. The cheque presentation was deferred until fall exams had ended last week.
