Susan Taylor, Supervisor of the Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre, is organizing a pitch competition.

Are you an aspiring entrepreneur and have a business idea that you think has the potential to take off? The St. Clair College Genesis Entrepreneur Centre may be able to help.

The Genesis Centre will host its second Rocket Pitch Competition, sponsored by the St. Clair College Alumni Association. This event allows aspiring entrepreneurs to show off their business ideas in a three-minute elevator pitch video.

The first place winner will receive a prize of $1000 and the second place finisher will receive $500. The Genesis Centre provides these prizes to the winners as a startup fund for their business ideas.

To be eligible to enter this competition, two workshops will need to be completed: Intro to Pitching and Refining your Pitch.

The first workshop, Intro to Pitching, will be held this Friday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon. Visit this link to sign up: https://bit.ly/3pzy4nA
