President Patti France was out early Thursday morning, handing out the annual edition of the Windsor Goodfellows newspaper, which helps raise funds to purchase Christmas baskets for families in need during the holidays and throughout the year.

She was joined at the college's Cabana Road entrance by senior staffers, Waseem Habash, Vice President, Academic, Joe Sirianni, Vice President, Human Resources, Marc Jones, Vice President, Finance, and students from the Police Foundations and Protection Security and Investigations programs.

Other staffers and students in Border Services and Paramedics were also spread out throughout the college's two campuses and on Windsor streets, asking motorists for donations to the cause.

Pat LeBlanc, coordinator of the PSI and Police Foundations programs, said $7,5000 in donations was raised last year, but he hopes to best that amount this year.

The Windsor Goodfellows Club has been a part of this community for over 100 years and is supported entirely through donations. The Goodfellows provide thousands of area families with assistance and support throughout the year. In addition to the Christmas food baskets, the Goodfellows operate a food bank, a school breakfast program and provide children with needed footwear.
