This course will enable a student to develop knowledge of the history, legislation, use and handling of drugs, oral and topical; and their effects on individual and body systems. The student will learn to apply related theory to correctly demonstrate the pouring, administering and recording of oral and topical medication and to safely monitor individuals receiving medications by various routes.
