This course prepares students to effectively represent a client before administrative tribunal. Students develop skills, techniques and strategies to advocate on behalf of a client tribunal process including preparing the client and witnesses, presenting and challenging evidence, and making submissions. The scope of paralegal practice within the context of administrative law is reviewed as are the relevant rules of professional conduct. Students will be coached using a broad range of exercises in preparation for simulated tribunal hearings.
