This course will continue the focus on the Microsoft Windows family of Operating Systems. Students will gain theoretical and practical experience in the continued administration of Microsoft Windows Client, and Network Operating Systems. Network planning, and server management tools and techniques will be the focus of the course. Students will gain an advanced level of understanding of the server environment using such features as: Remote Installation, Remote Administration, RAS, Logon Scripting, and the continued use of the Microsoft Management Console. In addition, TCP/IP configurations, dynamic DNS, DHCP, Exchange Server and the Active Directory will continue to be core components of the course.
