This course builds an understanding of the field of Phlebology and the functional and cosmetic consequences that prompt a client to seek treatment. Learners will be able to understand the incidence, etiology, and anatomy of venous disease. The course also examines indications, contraindications and potential complications of treatments including sclerosants, radiofrequency, ultrasound, and cry lipolysis. Students will conduct consultation with patient's requesting treatment and practice informing patients of their treatment options of treatment as well as pre and post-treatment protocols.
