A continuation of study in the elements and principles of Interior Design from pre-requisite IND 220C Interior Design Fundamentals II. This course introduces the application of the principles of space planning for a commercial project. Problem solving techniques for specific project design problems will be studied through selected case studies. The previously learned elements and principles of design, colour theory, are applied and refined through project studies. Attention will be given to interior materials/finishes, etc. related to interior design. Drawing skills previously acquired will be further refined.
