This course provides the student with a general understanding of culinary trends and their value to the hospitality industry. Through interactive lectures, research, statistical analysis, and guest speakers; the student will see how culinary trends develop and how to respond and utilize the information to advance hospitality business. Trends in Culinary Tourism, Hospitality Career Development, Institutional Certifications, Agri-tourism, and Technology will be studied.
