Students learn application of the foundations and fundamental components of delivering a group fitness class. Students present all components of a fitness class that might include skill related components such as balance, agility, and coordination. Emphasis is placed on the importance of progressive training and cueing methods. The student will deliver the primary components of group exercise, including principles, recommendations, and guidelines of warming up and stretching, cardiorespiratory training, muscular conditioning and flexibility. Students will be challenged to search and deliver current fitness class models.
