This is the second of two child development courses and continues the exploration of human development across the developmental domains into adolescence and early adulthood. Key issues influencing adolescent development in today's society will be discussed. The needs of adolescents with exceptionalities, and available supports for the transition to secondary school, post-secondary setting and the world of work will be examined.
