In this course, students will develop an understanding of the strategies that enable a layered defense model for the automobility ecosystem. Topics include IT Security, Operational Technology (OT) Security, In-Vehicle Security, Supply Chain Security, and Data Security. The roadside infrastructure of automotive cybersecurity will be discussed. This course also guides students in identifying and selecting goals, priorities, and critical issues with respect to policy, programmatic, technical, and operational aspects in support of Transport Canada's vehicle cybersecurity strategy.
