Students will gain an understanding of Information Systems audit and assurance guidelines and standards. Students will develop applied knowledge of the five domains of audit and control including the Information System Audit Process; Governance and Management of Information Systems; Information Systems Acquisition, Development, and Implementation; Information Systems Operations and Business Resilience; and Protection of Information Assets, Students will identify assets, highlight critical issues, and recommend specific enterprise practices that support and safeguard the governance of information and related technologies. Key topics include security domains of Access Control, Incident Response & Recovery, Risk Identification, Monitoring and Analysis, Security Operations and Administration, Network and Communications Security, Systems and Application Security, and Cryptography.
