In this course, students will learn about high-level guiding principles and practices for cyber-physical vehicle systems. This course also introduces existing security tools and methods used when designing, verifying, and validating cyber-physical vehicle systems. Guiding principles on cybersecurity for vehicle systems such as techniques for threat analysis and risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis are also addressed. This course provides an overview of good design practices for electrical architecture and current cybersecurity standards and guidelines in the vehicle industry.
