This course builds upon the foundational network cybersecurity knowledge with hands-on IT practices, including up-to-date security analyst skills and new techniques for combating the Security Operations Centre (SOC) threats. Students will learn to leverage intelligence and threat detection techniques, analyze and interpret data, and identify and address vulnerabilities to effectively respond to and recover from incidents. Monitoring and responding to network traffic findings on application security, threat hunting, and IT regulatory compliance to recover from incidents are also addressed in this course.
