This course examines the role of Cybersecurity in considering legal and ethical challenges encountered as computer-based technology professionals in the rapidly and continuously evolving digital era. Students learn about the history of emerging technologies and examine the nature and scope of intellectual property and legislative developments in response to technological advancements. Students explore contemporary legal and ethical issues relating to Cybersecurity with topics such as hacking, privacy, surveillance & cyberwarfare.
