This advanced analytical chemistry course will draw from lab skills obtained in previous analytical courses and apply them to new analytical challenges. Laboratory experiments will involve analysis of chemical parameters in either environmental chemistry, biochemistry, industrial chemistry, or other related fields. The course will contain theory, practice, and calculations related to measurements and statistical analysis in atomic absorption, GC, HPLC and spectrophotometry. Students will learn how to work in groups and deliver scientific results in formal written reports, and presentation format.
