This course introduces students to innovations and trends in manufacturing relative to Computerized Numerical Control machinery. Major topics such as automation, FCS (Fixture Clamping System), integration, computer software/hardware advancements, machine developments, high-speed machining, and 5-axis machining will be examined. Students will also learn about employer expectations for CNC professionals working with these recent advancements in CNC technologies.
