This course presents fundamental principles of human anatomy and physiology of the body system. It discusses cells, tissues and selected human systems. Topics include cell structure and function; tissues; body organization; and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, and endocrine systems with emphasis on homeostasis. It introduced and integrates concepts of bio- chemistry, pathology and microbiology. The course is designed to provide a foundation to help the students understand the variety of medical tests and/ or drugs available for diagnosis and treatment.
