This course concentrates on the fundamentals of computerized numerical control (CNC) in the woodworking/cabinetmaking industry today. Students will generate CNC programs from either a Computer Aided Design drawing and or imported picture files and observe their results on Computer Aided Manufacturing software. Students will produce individually machined products as lab projects using a 3 axis CNC controlled router.
