This course will explore the process of planning a National Event and Sales Promotion Campaign for a major Canadian brand. The dramatic increase in the use of social, mobile and the internet by consumers, event and sales promotion strategies must be adapted to these media, in addition to the traditional forms of TV, print and in-store promotions. Events and Sales Promotions also provide newsworthy stories for the Public Relations activities of brands.
